1.A Tetraeuangelium cum canonibus, capitulis, imag., tabulis liturgicis 001-180 13 (2/2) Parchemin - The VMR reproduction appears to be complete. - Three flyleaves precede the text at the beginning of the ms. and there are another three in the end matter. - In the foliation, f. 51r-v is followed by f. 51ar-v and f. 94r-v is followed by f. 94ar-v. - It is surprising, given the three signatures attributed to the manuscript's scribe, Theodore Zagorinos, (see f. 4v (after the capitula of Matthew), f. 128r (at the end of Luke), f. 167v (at the end of John)) that there should be no signature of his associated with the Gospel of Mark. - The hand in the colophon is strikingly different from the script featured in the body of the text, the RGK marks this difference as a digraph. The capitula in marginibus are also written in a hand that bears a greater resemblance to the script of colophon than that of the the body of the text. - It should also be noted that Matthew is the only Gospel not preceded by an evangelist portrait. - The final image on the reproduction is a letter titled "Dei Gratia Dux Venetia[rum]".
