Résumé :

Abstract : A recent examination of the Greek manuscript collection at the Vallicelliana Library in Rome has made it possible to attribute a significant number of codices to the library of Achille Stazio. The compilation of data gathered from the analysis of manuscripts that arrived in the Vallicelliana Library through Stazio’s bequest is valuable as it allows for a renewed overview of the relationship between the scholar and his collection of Greek language manuscripts. This, in turn, enables the systematic study of some of the humanist’s practices and offers a vivid glimpse into Renaissance erudition. Keywords : Achilles Statius, Biblioteca Vallicelliana, Greek manuscripts
