Résumé :
The athonite monastery of Vatopedi conserves an Arabic Greek liturgicon (Mont
Athos, Vatopedi 1049) realized in 1637 by the famous scribe Ṯalǧah al-ḥamawī,
brother of the patriarch Aftīmiyūs II Karmah (1634-1635). This last led a liturgical
reform in the Melkite patriarchate of Antioch when he was metropolitan of Aleppo
(1612-1634). The manuscript is concluded by a postscript signed by the patriarch
Makāriyūs III ibn al-Zaʿīm. In this essay, we will present this manuscript and we will
try to better understand how it ended up at Vatopedi.
