Résumé :

In this publication is presented to the translation of an homily of an anonymous preacher from Cappadocia, who is commonly called «Pseudo-Chrysostomus» (Pseudo-Chrysostomus Cappadox). The homily to the words: Watch Yourselves (Luke 17, 3) (CPG 4768) is dedicated to a passage from the Gospel of Luke, which contains instruction on the benefits and necessity of observing oneself in the matter of spiritual development. The author of the sermon, referring to the biblical teaching, tries to reveal the meaning of these words for believers belonging to different social groups. The introductory article briefly discusses the content of the sermon, its sources, and its connection with other sermons of the Cappadocian author.
