Résumé :

The present article provides an unedited epitaph by Manuel Philes for Angelos Senachereim, who held the office of megas stratopedarches in the first half of the 14th century. The poem is transmitted in a small collection of Manuel Philes’ poetry, preserved in a single manuscript dated to the 15th century. The paper includes a portrait outline of the person, information about the manuscript, commentaries on the epitaph, metrical analysis, and an edition with translation.
