This article offers a codicological description of the Greek manuscript Elbasan 82, which is preserved in the Central State Archive of Tirana (Albania). The manuscript is composed of different units that can be dated to the third quarter of the 16th century, and it contains, in addition to other patristic and Byzantine works and excerpts, the whole text of the Διδαχὴ τῶν δώδεκα ἀποστόλων. A philological and palaeographical examination of this text proves that it is a copy (probably a direct one) of the codex Hieros. S. Sepulcri 54 of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem, which was until now the only known witness of the Didache.
