Remarque
The reasons why Bekkos decided to shorten the first redaction are explicitated in the "De libris suis"; this second version contains an abridged refutation of the Florilegium Patristicum and a new refutation against the Epilogus by Kamateros.
This second recension is still unpublished, except for the beginning, which can be read in PG 141, 395-402.
