1.A | Tetraeuangelium cum capitulis, imag., canonibus | p. 006-519 | 09 | Parchemin | - at some point in time, the fragment of a lectionary (gr. 26) has been bound together with this Tetraevangelium; - the film on which the images in the VMR are based was taken in 1957 from the physically combined entity; - subsequently, the two parts were separated and have their own helf numbers: gr. 26 (fragment of a lectionary) and gr. 27 (Tetraevangelium); - since August 2015, gr. 26 has now also been registered as a separate object in the Liste under its own number GA l 2465, the respective images have been moved to this location; - as a consequence the "old" binding information has to be collected from both locations in VMR, i.e. GA 0211 and GA l 2465; - it appears, though, that the old binding of the combined "Umlaufeinheit" contained book boards and at least one flyleaf in the beginning and in the end, hence the images taken from that state appear to be complete with the exception of one folio (p. 307-308), which has been probably missed out when the manuscript was photographed; - the modern pagination has been added when both parts (gr. 26 and gr. 27) were still bound together, hence this Tetraevangelium begins with p. 6; - according to the manuscript keeper, the manuscript consists of regular quires (quaternionen) with the exception of one quire at the end of Mark with one additional folio containing a fragment of Eusebius ad Carpianum (p. 292-293), the text appears to be written by the same scribe; - at the end of Luke a folio (p. 420-421) with images has been wrongly inserted just before the final verses of Luke; - with the Eusebian apparatus in the margin and a part of ad Carpianum still in the manuscript I strongly suspect that a quire with the Canon Tables was also originally part of the manuscript; - on the initial paper flyleaf a buyer's note in Greek is visible that gives the year 1811; it must have referred to the combined "Umlaufeinheit" (gr. 26 + gr. 27). |
